Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clayman shoots in for a double leg but Ventura sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Clayman misses with a takedown attempt - Ventura sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Clayman shoots in looking for a takedown. Ventura tries to sprawl out of it but Clayman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Ventura manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Ventura counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Ventura lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Clayman is just content to waste time from the top position. Ventura takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Ventura will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Clayman has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Ventura has passed into side control.
Ventura scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Clayman to see if he's OK.
Ventura works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Ventura creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Clayman sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
