Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anaconda Anaconda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gorm Leifsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anaconda comes to the cage accompanied by Baby Got Back. Leifsson has chosen Iceland's National Anthem as his entrance music. Anaconda Anaconda could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gorm Leifsson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anaconda tries a head kick but it misses.

Anaconda stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anaconda wants it to stay on the feet.

Leifsson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anaconda trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Leifsson just content to control the position.
Leifsson is trying to get an arm triangle but Anaconda is defending well.
Anaconda is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Leifsson takes a little break here. Anaconda wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Anaconda is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Leifsson is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anaconda parries the strikes from Leifsson easily there. Leifsson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Anaconda to escape.
Leifsson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

A left and a right from Anaconda both land. Nice combination.
Anaconda gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Leifsson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Leifsson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
