Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Thiele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanji Hase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Thiele! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sanji Hase! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thiele drives through with a takedown into guard. Thiele wants to control from the top but Hase keeps moving. Hase being controlled here, momentarily. Thiele working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hase keeping full guard, as Thiele tries to pass. Thiele lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Thiele postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Thiele works a leg free and moves into half guard. Thiele trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thiele is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hase sees it coming and defends easily. Hase is trying to stand up here but Thiele is controlling him well. Thiele keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Hase pushes Thiele off looking to stand but Thiele dives back in and keeps control.
Thiele is looking to advance position but Hase won't allow it. Hase looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Thiele wants to work for an arm triangle but Hase is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Thiele content to control rather than advance. Hase is looking to get back to is feet but Thiele passes into side control.
Thiele has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hase is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Thiele yanks on the arm and Hase is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Thiele.
