Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bill Arkham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill Arkham has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a combination. Arkham tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Arkham.
Arkham looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Arkham persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing.
Lee scores with a nice body kick.
Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Arkham, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Lee misses with a two punch combination.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Arkham pushes him off.

Lee drops back looking for a leg! Arkham is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Arkham manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Arkham's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lee lands a glancing blow to the side of Arkham's head.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Arkham paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lee with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

and Lee counters with a left to the body.
Arkham is breathing heavily.

Arkham fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lee sprawls well initially but Arkham persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Arkham prevents Lee from improving his position.
Arkham wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.
Lee is controlling Arkham's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Lee's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lee is trying to stand up here but Arkham is controlling him well.
Arkham perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Arkham wants to free his trapped foot but Lee is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Lee pushes Arkham off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Lee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Arkham to the mat! Arkham manages to get full guard.
Lee stands up over Arkham, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Arkham tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Arkham has a closed guard, preventing Lee from standing up.

so Arkham counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Arkham trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's time! Arkham's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Lee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Arkham manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Arkham has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Lee wanted to stand there but Arkham had control of the position.
Arkham controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself.

Arkham escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bruce Lee has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Arkham not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Lee with a flurry of punches that miss.

Arkham has his foot on Lee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lee works his way back into a safe position though.
Lee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lee is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lee is fighting to break Arkham's control of his arms but Arkham is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

and Arkham decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lee's guard.
Lee can't keep his opponent in guard - Arkham advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Arkham is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Arkham seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Arkham is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lee doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Arkham.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lee wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Bruce Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee scores with a hook to the body. Arkham takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bill Arkham will probably get the nod.

Oh Arkham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arkham slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Lee throws a quick head kick that knocks Arkham silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Lee is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
