Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Whopp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miyagi comes into the arena with Ready for war blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whopp throws a nice head kick!

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Whopp throws a sloppy head kick and Miyagi moves out of range easily.
Whopp with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Miyagi to score with a decent uppercut.
Whopp lands with a kick to the temple. Miyagi shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Miyagi lands a body shot.
Miyagi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Whopp's waist but Whopp gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miyagi off to one side.
Whopp closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Miyagi just misses with a elbow thrown towards Whopp's brow.

Miyagi is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Whopp is keeping busy.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miyagi lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Whopp backwards.

Miyagi has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Whopp is trying to keep an underhook but Miyagi manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Whopp can do anything to dispel that myth.

Miyagi slips a nice elbow through Whopp's hands, connecting with Whopp's forehead.
Whopp won't allow Miyagi to pass to mount.

Miyagi seems to be looking for submissions.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Miyagi seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Miyagi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Whopp avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Miyagi.
Whopp wants to control but Miyagi is keeping busy.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Miyagi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Miyagi just misses with a punch to the body.
Miyagi takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Miyagi lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Miyagi connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.


Whopp is rocked!
Chris Whopp is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Whopp connects with a high kick.
Whopp is still on wobbly legs! Can Miyagi finish him?
Miyagi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Whopp looks gassed!
Miyagi throws a nice outside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Miyagi lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Whopp is looking to close the distance but Miyagi sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Whopp crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Whopp is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
