Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Fitzwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vel Sirra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitzwell comes to the cage accompanied by RATM - Killing in The Name. Sirra has chosen Omen by Prodigy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Richard Fitzwell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vel Sirra!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sirra will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sirra steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fitzwell.
Sirra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fitzwell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fitzwell slips a jab and a cross from Sirra.
Sirra feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fitzwell's calf.
Sirra lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fitzwell circles away quickly and effectively.
A combination from Sirra does no damage.
Sirra misses with a few strikes there.
Fitzwell gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sirra to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Sirra drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fitzwell manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sirra has Fitzwell in his guard.
Fitzwell working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sirra's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sirra throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fitzwell working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Fitzwell with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sirra is on top in guard.
Fitzwell wants to stand and escape but Sirra is having none of it.
Sirra throws and elbow that misses. Fitzwell uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sirra's guard. Nice move by Fitzwell!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fitzwell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fitzwell makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sirra wants to improve his position but instead Fitzwell has moved into half guard.
Fitzwell seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sirra is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fitzwell's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fitzwell's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fitzwell covering up well under a barage of strikes.
Sirra misses with punches from the back.
Sirra throws a series of strikes and Fitzwell wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here.
Fitzwell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fitzwell is trying to stand.
Sirra is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Fitzwell has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Fitzwell!
Fitzwell with a flurry of punches that miss.
Sirra avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Fitzwell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Fitzwell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sirra has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fitzwell has managed to get both his arms back between Sirra's legs - danger averted.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fitzwell's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Fitzwell postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Sirra has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Fitzwell has passed into side control.
Sirra is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Sirra is looking to reverse the position.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fitzwell is putting a hurting on Sirra here, landing some big shots from side control.
Fitzwell in side control lands a decent elbow.

Sirra is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Sirra looks gassed!
Fitzwell lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Sirra is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fitzwell pulls his head out easily.
Fitzwell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sirra with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sirra slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Fitzwell works over Sirra with some ground and pound from guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Richard Fitzwell dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Fitzwell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fitzwell wants it to stay on the feet.

Sirra misses with a double jab
and Fitzwell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sirra darts in trying to clinch
and Fitzwell counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sirra misses with a two punch combination.
Fitzwell looks to score with a jab to the body but Sirra is just out of range.
Sirra throws a leg kick that misses.
Sirra fails to land the takedown.
Sirra is breathing heavily.
A jab from Sirra misses.
Fitzwell lands a big right hand that sends Sirra crashing to the mat! Fitzwell stays standing though and waves Sirra back to his feet!
Sirra is rocked!

Fitzwell misses with a wild body shot.
Fitzwell drops Sirra with a naaaaasty hook - Sirra is in real trouble here! Fitzwell dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
