Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Clifford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Modric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clifford dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Clifford closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Modric is trying to get back to half guard.
Modric is not content to let Clifford control the position.
Clifford tries to advance to mount but Modric denies him.
Modric is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Clifford off and has taken his back!
Clifford turns into Modric and is now in his guard.
Modric looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Clifford puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Modric wants to improve his position but Clifford is controlling well.

Clifford looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Clifford slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Clifford thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Modric drops back looking for a leg! Clifford is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Clifford manages to kick Modric off! Modric jumps back into Clifford's guard.

Modric lands a nice shot to the head.
Clifford tries to lock up and control but Modric gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Clifford manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Modric has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Clifford slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Modric lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Modric tries to pass the half guard into mount. Clifford knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Modric is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Clifford throws a sloppy head kick and Modric moves out of range easily.
Clifford closes this distance looking for a takedown but Modric circles away.
Modric lands a hook that stumbles Clifford back into the cage. Modric follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Clifford to the canvas! Modric pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Clifford has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
