Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Frulani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark MacLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frulani comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Frulani! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark MacLeod! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frulani tries a head kick but it misses.
Frulani tries to clinch up. MacLeod closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Frulani can't do much from the bottom here. Frulani is being controlled here. Frulani tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but MacLeod presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! MacLeod is working for a guillotine from mount but Frulani frees his head quite easily.
MacLeod with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frulani wants to hold on but MacLeod pushes him away. MacLeod looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. MacLeod is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Frulani has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Frulani! MacLeod punching to the body, from the bottom. MacLeod lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Frulani! MacLeod tries to control but Frulani wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MacLeod is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. MacLeod takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Let's hope that MacLeod has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. MacLeod looking to control but Frulani is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frulani is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. MacLeod moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Frulani has worked his arm free - good work by Frulani!
Frulani gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! MacLeod controlling from mount. Frulani wants to control but MacLeod is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. MacLeod tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. MacLeod fails to take his opponent's back. MacLeod controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. MacLeod can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Frulani is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark MacLeod dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Felipe Frulani is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. MacLeod moves out of range as Frulani throws a body kick.
Frulani tries a head kick but it misses.
MacLeod swats away the attempt to clinch by Frulani. Frulani tries to close the distance and clinch but MacLeod swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Frulani avoids the body shot from MacLeod.
Frulani throws a sloppy head kick and MacLeod moves out of range easily. MacLeod scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Frulani lands with a kick to the temple. MacLeod shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Frulani on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

MacLeod gets a takedown into half guard. MacLeod is taking a breather. Frulani says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacLeod trying to control from Frulani's half guard. Frulani has other ideas though and has regained full guard. MacLeod wants to control from the top but Frulani keeps moving. MacLeod passes easily into side control. Nice work. MacLeod has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Frulani! MacLeod controlling from the full mount.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mark MacLeod just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. MacLeod scores with a shot to the body.
MacLeod tries to bum rush Frulani with a series of wild strikes but Frulani uses good footwork to avoid the assault. MacLeod thuds his right hand into Frulani's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Frulani tries to clinch up but MacLeod circles away and keeps his distance. MacLeod shoots in and bounces Frulani off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. MacLeod is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frulani keeping moving, preventing MacLeod from controlling successfully.

MacLeod is keen to just control but Frulani is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark MacLeod showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

MacLeod is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Frulani sees it coming and defends easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. MacLeod is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Frulani doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time MacLeod.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacLeod takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Frulani won't allow MacLeod to pass to mount. MacLeod wants to control but Frulani is keeping him busy. MacLeod throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. MacLeod is taking a breather. Frulani says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. MacLeod is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Frulani defends it well. Frulani is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. MacLeod misses with a double jab.

MacLeod changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Frulani looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. MacLeod moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MacLeod advances to full mount. MacLeod is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Frulani is surviving well by controlling MacLeod's body position as best he can. MacLeod controlling the position easily from mount. MacLeod avoids the attempt from Frulani to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. MacLeod content just to control the position here. Frulani sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. MacLeod working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark MacLeod comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well MacLeod has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
