Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Lunar! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Waldorf Astoria! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lunar throws a lazy right hand but Astoria sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Lunar tries a head kick but it misses.
Astoria keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Astoria cracks Lunar with a right hand to the side of the head. Lunar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lunar lands with a thumping leg kick.
Astoria looks to land a body kick but Lunar moved away. A chopping leg kick lands by Lunar. Astoria lands the left hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Astoria checks the leg kick nicely there.

Astoria looks gassed! Lunar throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Astoria misses with a straight left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Astoria just misses with a punch to the body.
Lunar loads up on a big right hand but Astoria slips the punch. Lunar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Astoria.
Astoria looks to land a right hand but Lunar moved out of range. Lunar looks to land a left hand but Astoria moved out of range nicely. Astoria looks to land a right hand but Lunar moved out of range. Lunar avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Lunar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Astoria rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lunar moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Astoria takes a swing at Lunar's ribcage but misses. Lunar scores with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Astoria moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Lunar throws a body punch but Astoria moves out of range. Lunar takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lucas Lunar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lunar lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A jab lands there for Astoria. Lunar throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Astoria counters with a lovely shot to the body. Lunar lands a brutal head kick. Astoria looks out on his feet and Lunar throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
