Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zlat Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and pink pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zlat Blaze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, pink pete!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
pete slips a jab and a cross from Blaze.
Blaze misses with a low kick.
pete tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blaze paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Blaze avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
pete is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Blaze bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Blaze fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
pete dodges the punch combination from Blaze.
Blaze shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says pete as he avoids it easily.
pete rushes Blaze and presses him up against the cage.
Blaze jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as pete walks away with a smile on his face. Blaze gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Blaze throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Blaze bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of pete's head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
pete throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Blaze's head.
pete drives through and clinches with Blaze against the cage.
pete jumps into guard, dragging Blaze to the mat.
Blaze drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Blaze jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

pete keeping moving, preventing Blaze from controlling successfully.

Blaze drops back, looking for a kneebar! pete looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. pete looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from pete!
pete decides to stand back up. pete steps back and let's Blaze get back to his feet.
pete tries to clinch but Blaze is having none of it.
Blaze throws a right hand that pete ducks under and follows up with a left that pete also avoids with ease.
pete rushes Blaze and presses him up against the cage.
Blaze fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zlat Blaze. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blaze is trying to stall.
pete is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Blaze is defending well for now.

pete really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blaze. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

pete is looking to stand up but Blaze isn't so interested in that idea.

Blaze thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Blaze wants to control from the top but pete keeps moving.
pete is looking for a triangle but Blaze pushes his legs off easily.
Blaze is standing up over pete. pete looks to escape but Blaze dives into side control.
Blaze goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, pete rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Blaze's guard! Nice work there by pete!
Blaze controls pete momentarily but pete frees himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
pete wants to stand but Blaze has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Blaze throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
pete would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blaze is striking off his back. pete thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Blaze works pete's body with a nice hook.
Blaze swats away the attempt to clinch by pete.
Blaze rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but pete moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
pete will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Well pete has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
