Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phillip McCrackin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Illy Niccolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Illy Niccolo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Illy Niccolo!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCrackin walks into a left hand.
McCrackin misses with a jab, cross combination.
McCrackin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Niccolo tries to clinch but McCrackin is having none of it.
Niccolo scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Phillip McCrackin has been cut.
Niccolo tries to close the distance and clinch up but McCrackin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McCrackin shoots in for a takedown but Niccolo shows good takedown defense.
Niccolo moves out of range of the body kick.
McCrackin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Niccolo tries to avoid it but McCrackin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Niccolo to the ground. Niccolo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McCrackin tries to clinch there but Niccolo circles away.
Niccolo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McCrackin doesn't seem bothered though.
Niccolo scores with a one two! McCrackin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
McCrackin is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Niccolo drops McCrackin with a straight left! Oh this is bad for McCrackin! Niccolo dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Illy Niccolo!
