The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn checks the leg kick nicely there.
Penn scores with a jab to the body.
Penn throws a right and a left that Denmark avoids nicely.
Penn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Denmark, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Denmark dodges the punch combination from Penn.
Penn misses with the combination.
Penn throws a right and a left that both miss.
Penn tries to bum rush Denmark with a series of wild strikes but Denmark uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Penn lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Penn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Penn scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Thomas Denmark has been cut.
Denmark looks gassed!
A solid leg kick lands there for Penn.
Denmark takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Penn closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Penn clobbers Denmark with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Denmark takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Penn drops Denmark with a beautiful combination! Denmark stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Penn is looking for the KO!
