The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnstone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Clemenza is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Clemenza tries to clinch but Johnstone moves out of range.

Clemenza tries to clinch but Johnstone moves away

and Johnstone counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Clemenza knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnstone on the ground.
Johnstone is taking a breather. Clemenza says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Johnstone frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Johnstone lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Clemenza is rocked!
Clemenza is in a horrible position here. Johnstone smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oh Clemenza is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Clemenza is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Johnstone locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Clemenza is forced to tap!
