Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Macho Martel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferguson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Breaking Benjamin singing "You Fight Me" live for the crowd tonight!!!!. Martel has chosen The Orginal Techno Viking as his entrance music. Kevin Ferguson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martel throws a sloppy head kick and Ferguson moves out of range easily.
Ferguson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Martel is fending him off so far but Ferguson persists. Nope, Martel circles away and we're back to standing.
Martel leaves Ferguson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Martel tries a head kick but it misses.
Ferguson shoots in but Martel avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Ferguson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ferguson is breathing heavily.
Martel throws a head kick that misses.
Ferguson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Martel to the mat! Martel manages to get full guard.
Martel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Martel looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Martel had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ferguson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Martel Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ferguson's back instead.
Well, with Martel on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Ferguson is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
