Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Webster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JESUS GONZALEZ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Webster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, JESUS GONZALEZ!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
GONZALEZ fails with a takedown attempt.

Webster shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. GONZALEZ manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Webster is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Webster feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Webster seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
