Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Marvelous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Marvelous looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Marvelous gets a takedown into half guard.
Marvelous is trying to control the action in half guard but Ross is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Marvelous is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Marvelous wants to stand but Ross has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Marvelous shoots in for a double leg but Ross sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Marvelous throws and elbow that misses. Ross uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Marvelous's guard. Nice move by Ross!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ross, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
