Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Mayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake O Donnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos Mayne has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Mayne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake O Donnell!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayne shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says O Donnell as he avoids it easily.

O Donnell doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Mayne counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Mayne might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mayne wants to control from the top but O Donnell keeps moving.
O Donnell trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Mayne controls O Donnell momentarily but O Donnell frees himself.
O Donnell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Mayne has O Donnell up against the cage in a clinch.

O Donnell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mayne moves in looking to clinch but O Donnell pushes him off.
Mayne misses with a takedown attempt
and O Donnell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Mayne is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Mayne. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Oh Mayne is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

O Donnell misses with a two punch combination.
O Donnell lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Mayne is looking to close the distance but O Donnell sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Mayne crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Mayne is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
