Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Javier Baldon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adolf Hitler!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitler closes the distance and clinches up with Baldon, looking for a takedown. Hitler pushes Baldon against the ropes but Baldon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hitler tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Baldon clinches.
Baldon unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hitler lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Hitler lands a hook to the side of the head.
Baldon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hitler.
The is referee keeping an eye on Baldon - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Baldon drags the fight down to the ground.
Baldon controlling the position.
Baldon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hitler is looking to work some ground and pound but Baldon has wrist control.
Baldon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Baldon seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Baldon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Baldon looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hitler puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Baldon keeping control of the position.
Baldon tries to get to full guard but Hitler has control of the leg.
Baldon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Baldon tries to get out of the position.
Baldon keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Baldon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hitler on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Baldon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Baldon trying to get back to full guard but Hitler takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Hitler wants to control the pace but Baldon is squirming around nicely.
Hitler avoids the attempt from Baldon to control.

Hitler tries to control but Baldon wriggling away.
Hitler sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Baldon avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hitler.
Baldon is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hitler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Baldon wants to hold on but Hitler pushes him away.
Baldon is looking to get to half guard.
Baldon tries to buck Hitler off but he can't manage it.
Baldon is breathing heavily.
Baldon is squirming around, avoiding Hitler's attempts to control the action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Baldon tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hitler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Hitler throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Baldon has his hands clasped together but Hitler breaks the hold and Baldon is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Hitler!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Adolf Hitler!
