The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Castle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Castle pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Castle misses with a few strikes there.
Castle misses with a straight left. Slash fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Castle avoids it really well and circles away. Slash misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Castle swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Slash avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Castle misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castle jabbing away but nothing is landing. Slash throws a series of punches but Castle avoids them all with ease. Slash looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Slash trying to control the position from guard on top but Castle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Castle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Castle tries to get out of the position. Castle keeping full guard, as Slash tries to pass. Castle is pulling down on Slash's head. It's preventing any offense from Slash, at least for the moment. Slash is in close to Castle's body, working some short punches and elbows. Slash drops back, looking for a kneebar! Castle looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Castle looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Castle!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slash is trying to improve his position. Castle tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Slash is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Castle's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Castle slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castle tries to pass to full mount but Slash defends it. Slash tries to get to full guard but Castle has control of the leg. Slash looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Castle wants to get back to his feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Slash is trying to control but can't.

Cono Slash dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Slash uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Castle.
Castle lands a jab. Slash moves out of range of the strikes. A slow jab from Castle misses its intended target. Slash closes the distance and clinches up with Castle, looking for a takedown. Slash pushes Castle against the cage but Castle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slash fails with a takedown attempt. Castle closes the distance and lands a one-two. Slash takes one to the chin there.

That's going to take a lot out of Cono Slash. Castle throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Slash slips under a jab. Slash fails with a takedown attempt. Castle misses with a straight right. Slash ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Slash moves out of range of the strikes. Castle misses with an uppercut. Slash saw that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Slash moves out of range as Castle strikes. Slash throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Castle's waist but Castle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slash off to one side. Castle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Castle throws out a loose jab but Slash uses good head movement to avoid it. Slash uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Castle. Slash fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Castle scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Castle misses with a wild combination.
Castle throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Slash sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castle lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Castle pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Castle scores with a jab to the body. Castle tests Slash's chin there with a solid looking shot. Castle throws a series of punches but Slash avoids them all with ease. No joy there for Castle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Slash bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Castle lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Castle with a hook. Slash slips a straight right by Castle. Castle looks to land a left hand but Slash moved out of range nicely. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Slash is defended easily by Castle. Slash throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Castle to counter with a crisp jab. Frank Castle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jab, jab by Castle - just one landing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Castle throws a big shot that misses. Castle dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Castle throws a jab but it's blocked by Slash. Castle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Castle dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Castle lunges at Slash with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Slash's hand. A jab from Castle does it's job there. Castle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slash was well out of range. Poor timing from Castle. Slash shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Castle manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Slash drops back looking for a leg! Castle is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Castle manages to kick Slash off! Slash jumps back into Castle's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slash drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Castle dives on top into guard. Slash takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castle sitting in guard, not really doing much. Slash keeping moving, preventing Castle from controlling successfully. Castle is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Castle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Slash has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Castle has managed to get both his arms back between Slash's legs - danger averted. Castle wants to stand but Slash has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Castle avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Slash is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castle wants to control but Slash is keeping busy.
Slash is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Castle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Slash. Castle keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Slash is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Castle sees it coming and defends easily. Castle slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Slash trying to move into half guard but instead Castle has managed to sweep! Castle controls from within his opponent's guard. Castle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slash on the ground. Slash throws his legs up looking for a submission but Castle uses it to pass to side control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank Castle. I think Castle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
