The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
got gum gum bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
got gum gum trying to control the action but Brite is working from the bottom.
got gum gum thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Brite is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Brite bucks up and tries to throw got gum gum off but instead got gum gum has got his back!
got gum gum avoiding Brite 's attempts to control his hands.

Brite is keeping busy.
Brite tries to escape but got gum gum has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Brite paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
got gum gum drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
got gum gum is pushing down on Brite's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brite is fighting to maintain full guard but got gum gum has managed to sneak the leg through.
Brite tries to kick got gum gum off in order to stand up. got gum gum Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Brite pushes got gum gum away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, got gum gum gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Brite is breathing heavily.

got gum gum goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Brite rolls with the submission and now he's on top in got gum gum's guard! Nice work there by Brite!

Brite gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Brite lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Brite gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Brite is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but got gum gum frees his head nicely. Oh but Brite has switched to an armbar! got gum gum is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
