Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Hansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jermaine Williams!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Williams changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hansen fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hansen clinches but Williams breaks the clinch
so Williams counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams drops back looking for a leg! Hansen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hansen manages to kick Williams off! Williams jumps back into Hansen's guard.
Williams's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jermaine Williams just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hansen sprawls well. Hansen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.
Hansen wants to clinch but Williams slips to the side
so Williams counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Williams is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Williams's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Let's hope that Williams has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

and Williams counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hansen won't be happy with that.
