Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brett Reznar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carver McNulty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reznar comes to the cage accompanied by m.o.v.e - BREAK IN2 THE NITE. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Carver McNulty was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carver McNulty! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNulty looks to score with a jab to the body but Reznar is just out of range. Reznar gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Reznar misses with a body punch.

McNulty looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Reznar pushes McNulty back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Reznar taking a breather. McNulty jumps guard.
Reznar sitting in guard here, content to control. McNulty is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reznar is aware though and is defending well. Reznar controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Reznar stopping the sweep attempt from McNulty. Reznar trying to stand up but can't free himself from McNulty's guard. Reznar showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Reznar wanted to stand there but McNulty had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reznar wants to control from the top but McNulty keeps moving. Reznar advances to half guard. McNulty tries to roll over but Reznar keeps him under control. Still in half guard, Reznar seems content to control. McNulty moves into full guard.
Reznar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Reznar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McNulty is keeping the position for now. Reznar trying to control but McNulty is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Reznar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. McNulty manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McNulty punching from mount but Reznar doing a good job of avoiding damage. McNulty swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Reznar is now in McNulty's guard. A big mistake from McNulty there, giving up the dominant position! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. McNulty can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Reznar controls the pace. McNulty looking to hit a scissor sweep but Reznar is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reznar controls the pace of the fight for a moment. McNulty looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Reznar is defending well. McNulty quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Reznar has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! McNulty celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
