The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elmer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Elmer there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Greg Elmer has been cut.
Smith misses with a few strikes there.

Smith cracks Elmer with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Smith has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Elmer to stand back up!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Elmer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Smith misses the shot to the body.
Elmer digs a good body shot into Smith's ribs.
Smith has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smith there as he acknowledges the shot.
Smith lands with a big right hook that stumbles Elmer - he's out on his feet here! Smith follows up with another monster hook that separates Elmer from consciousness! Elmer falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Smith stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
