Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between mansoor butt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas CdS (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). butt comes into the arena with go blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
butt throws a series of punches but CdS moves out of range.
CdS tries to score a power double leg takedown but butt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten CdS somewhat.
butt shoots and misses
and CdS counters with a nice double leg into side control. butt won't be happy with that.
CdS goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, butt has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for CdS but great work by butt.
CdS tries to improve position but can't.
CdS wants to control but butt postures up.
CdS tries to get back to half guard but can't.
butt stands up.
butt pulls out of a head kick attempt.

CdS doesn't succeed with the takedown
and butt counters with a left and a right that stings CdS.
butt tries to clinch there but CdS circles away.
butt clinches up with CdS and pushes him back against the ropes.
CdS struggles to land a body shot inside as butt controls his hands.
butt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
butt throws a series of punches but CdS moves out of range.

CdS drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

CdS is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
butt prevents a takedown attempt there.
CdS wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but butt has him pressed against the ropes.
CdS drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

butt tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
CdS regains half guard.
butt working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
butt is keen to just control but CdS is a slippery customer.
butt moves into full mount! CdS won't be happy about that!
CdS gets back to half guard.
CdS has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. butt is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round but I would say that mansoor butt will probably get the nod.

and butt counters with a one-two to the body.

A combination from butt does no damage.

CdS lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for butt!

CdS throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for butt because CdS loaded up on that one.

CdS missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
butt is positioning himself well to prevent CdS advancing to mount.
CdS is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and butt defends it well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

butt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. CdS gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
CdS pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. butt is keeping the position for now.

butt looking for a sweep. Not yet butt, not yet.
CdS thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
butt not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
CdS trying to control but butt is working from the bottom.
CdS might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control butt kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

butt looks like he's trying to stand up.
CdS is thwarting butt's attempts to control the position.
CdS is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. butt doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time CdS.

CdS is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

CdS is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but butt is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
