Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wanderson Marua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aristides Cipriano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cipriano has chosen Chico Science e Nação Zumbi - Manguetown as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aristides Cipriano!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marua loads up on a big right hand but Cipriano slips the punch.
Cipriano gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Cipriano tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Marua wants to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cipriano is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Marua knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Marua tries to buck Cipriano off but Cipriano is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cipriano tries for a kimura but Marua is defending well.
Cipriano is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Marua is trying to escape and Cipriano transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Marua is forced to tap! Nice work there by Cipriano! Very nice indeed!
