Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ze Minotauro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minotauro comes to the cage accompanied by Acid Thunder - Fast Eddie. Anderson Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Minotauro. Minotauro gets slowly back to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Minotauro.
Minotauro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Minotauro finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Minotauro is controlling him.
Minotauro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Minotauro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Minotauro is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Silva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Minotauro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Minotauro is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Minotauro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ze Minotauro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Minotauro shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Minotauro was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva tries to escape but Minotauro is in control.

Minotauro thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Silva stops Minotauro from passing to mount.

Minotauro's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Minotauro has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Silva!
Silva is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
