Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

Bauer darts in and clinches Ortiz up against the cage.

Ortiz closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bauer did well to prevent Ortiz getting side control.

Ortiz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bauer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ortiz is nestled in close to Bauer, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Ortiz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ortiz thows a huge punch but Bauer dodges it nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Ortiz shoots in for a takedown but Bauer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bauer throws a series of punches but Ortiz avoids them all with ease.
Jack Bauer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ortiz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bauer's waist but Bauer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ortiz off to one side.
Bauer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ortiz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bauer swivels and escapes.

Bauer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bauer wants it to stay on the feet.

You can see the frustration on Bauer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ortiz connects with a nice short shot to Bauer's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bauer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ortiz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ortiz looks for a takedown but Bauer sprawls well.
Ortiz feints and as Bauer raises his hands in defense, Ortiz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ortiz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Ortiz is working Bauer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Ortiz is posturing up here but Bauer has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ortiz tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ortiz has to tap! Slick submission there by Bauer!
