Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Petersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khan Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Khan Savage!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Petersen feints and as Savage raises his hands in defense, Petersen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Petersen won't allow Savage to get back to his feet.

Petersen throws a strike but Savage rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
