Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brett Foster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dixon Cox! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cox fails to land with a series of punches.
Cox shoots in for a takedown but Foster shows good takedown defense. Cox looks for a takedown but Foster sprawls well. Horrible takedown by Cox or perhaps it was just good defense by Foster which made him look bad. Brett Foster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dixon Cox. Cox feints and as Foster raises his hands in defense, Cox changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Foster controls Cox momentarily but Cox frees himself. Foster manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cox manages to get himself to full guard.
Cox looking for a sweep. Not yet Cox, not yet. Cox looking for a triangle here. Foster is fighting it but it looks tight! Cox pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Foster is tapping out - this one is all over!
