Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garrett gleason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Marshall Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). gleason comes to the cage accompanied by beat it. Dan Marshall Jr is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Marshall Jr!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
gleason is trying hard to land a takedown here. Marshall Jr sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
gleason shoots in but no luck this time.
Marshall Jr lands with a slapping head kick.


It looks like Garrett gleason has been cut.
gleason looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Let's hope that Marshall Jr has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dan Marshall Jr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


gleason looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marshall Jr is fending him off so far but gleason persists. Nope, Marshall Jr circles away and we're back to standing.

Marshall Jr postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! gleason is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Marshall Jr, into his guard.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Garrett gleason just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

and Marshall Jr holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
gleason tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marshall Jr smiles and moves away.

Marshall Jr working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
gleason wants to sweep here but Marshall Jr controlling him for the moment.
Marshall Jr looking to sit in guard and control but gleason gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

gleason trying to control the position from guard on top but Marshall Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Garrett gleason has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Marshall Jr wanted to stand there but gleason had control of the position.
gleason is trying to keep Marshall Jr in close.
Marshall Jr not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Dan Marshall Jr is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
gleason is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
