Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Murdoch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaiden Norstad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murdoch kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bro Hymm- Pennywise. The key to victory for Mickey Murdoch has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaiden Norstad! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norstad circles away from the clinch attempt.
Norstad stuns Murdoch with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Norstad takes a swing at Murdoch's ribcage but misses. Murdoch fails to land with a series of punches.
Murdoch on the wrong end of a nice hook. Murdoch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Murdoch darts in and clinches Norstad up against the cage. A bit of stalling here from Norstad.

Norstad shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Murdoch as he avoids it easily. Mickey Murdoch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaiden Norstad. Murdoch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Murdoch lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Norstad thows a body shot but no joy. Murdoch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Murdoch throws a front kick that sends Norstad stumbling back into the cage. Norstad looks gassed! Norstad avoids the attempt from Murdoch to control. Murdoch is looking to get to half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Murdoch wants to control but Norstad is having none of it. Murdoch squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Norstad drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. You can see the frustration on Murdoch's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Norstad wants to control but Murdoch is keeping him busy. Murdoch is trying to get back to half guard.
