Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aries Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos comes to the cage accompanied by Oh Lets Do it by waka flocka flame. Turner has chosen Oh Lets Do it by waka flocka flame as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Aries Santos had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aries Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Junior Turner!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Turner misses its intended target.
Turner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Santos has Turner up against the cage in a clinch.

Santos jumps guard and drags Turner to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Santos is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Turner is controlling him.
Turner distracts Santos with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Turner with a flurry of punches that miss.
Turner postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Turner keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Santos's head.
Turner throws and elbow that misses. Santos uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Turner's guard. Nice move by Santos!
Santos postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Turner has his feet on Santos's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Turner looks gassed!
Santos lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Turner shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Santos is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Turner is controlling him.
Santos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Turner on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Turner.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Santos is not content to let Turner control the position.

Turner sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Santos is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Turner tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Turner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Turner takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Turner slips a nice elbow through Santos's hands, connecting with Santos's forehead.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Turner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Santos counters with a single leg into guard. Turner didn't expect that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Aries Santos will probably get the nod.
That's time! Santos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Turner throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Santos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Turner shoots for a double leg takedown but Santos sprawls well. He's pushed Turner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Aries Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Turner.

Santos tightens his grip and picks Turner up, before dumping him to the ground. Turner manages to land in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Aries Santos is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Santos has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
