Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justin Lane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges Saint Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Lane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges Saint Pierre! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saint Pierre displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lane. Saint Pierre looks to land a combination but Lane avoids it well. Lane tries to clinch but Saint Pierre is having none of it. Saint Pierre tries to clinch but Lane moves away and Lane counters with a shoot takedown. Saint Pierre fights it but they end up in guard. Lane is looking to stand up but Saint Pierre won't let him. Saint Pierre will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Saint Pierre striking off his back but it's not causing Lane any problems. Saint Pierre keeping moving, preventing Lane from controlling successfully. Saint Pierre doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Lane wants to control from the top but Saint Pierre keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Saint Pierre closes the distance and clinches up with Lane, looking for a takedown. Saint Pierre pushes Lane against the cage but Lane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lane throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Danga de danga de dang - Saint Pierre scores with a four punch combination! Saint Pierre gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lane counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Saint Pierre! Lane throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Lane sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Lane thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Lane sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lane with the ground and pound from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Saint Pierre tries to lock up and control but Lane gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lane lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Lane prevents Saint Pierre from getting the reversal. Lane trying to control but Saint Pierre is having none of it. Lane looking for a guillotine from mount but Saint Pierre is having none of it. Saint Pierre looks gassed! Saint Pierre is bucking up trying to escape but Lane cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saint Pierre wants to hold on but Lane pushes him away. Lane can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Saint Pierre is looking to escape. Saint Pierre is in a horrible position here. Lane smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Saint Pierre gets back to half guard. Lane is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lane trying to control from Saint Pierre's half guard. Saint Pierre has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Lane throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Saint Pierre works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lane wants to control from the top but Saint Pierre keeps moving. Lane controlling from the top position. Lane scoring with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Lane dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lane doesn't succeed with the takedown and Saint Pierre counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Saint Pierre. Lane wants to get back to his feet but Saint Pierre is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Saint Pierre wants to control from the top but Lane keeps moving. Saint Pierre with a flurry of punches that miss. Lane wants to get back to his feet but Saint Pierre is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Saint Pierre is fighting to break Lane's control of his arms but Lane is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Saint Pierre postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lane trying to control the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Saint Pierre listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Lane throws a lazy head kick and Saint Pierre counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lane's guard now. Lane working a defensive guard but Saint Pierre manages to pass into side control anyway.
Lane bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Lane throws a head kick that misses. Saint Pierre throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lane closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Justin Lane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Saint Pierre is looking to improve his position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lane connects with a nice short shot to Saint Pierre's temple. Lane controlling the action here. Saint Pierre trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saint Pierre actively working from the bottom here. Lane is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Lane performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lane looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Saint Pierre wants to sweep but Lane has passed to side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lane scoring with punches from side control. Lane controlling from side mount. Lane decides to stand back up. Lane throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Saint Pierre's waist but Saint Pierre gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lane off to one side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Georges Saint Pierre will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Lane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lane closes the distance and pushes Saint Pierre back into the cage. Lane has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Saint Pierre avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Lane stalls. Saint Pierre can't break the clinch.
Lane prevents Saint Pierre from breaking the clinch. Lane gets control of Saint Pierre's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lane will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Lane is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Saint Pierre trying to control but Lane is working from the bottom. Saint Pierre has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lane is proving hard to escape from. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Saint Pierre preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lane keeping moving, preventing Saint Pierre from controlling successfully. Saint Pierre throwing strikes but missing. Lane has control of Saint Pierre's left arm, preventing Saint Pierre from doing any damage. Lane is looking to stand up but Saint Pierre isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A head kick by Lane misses and Saint Pierre counters with a big head kick but Lane shrugs it off. Saint Pierre avoids the head kick by Lane.
Lane closes the distance and clinches. Saint Pierre working hard to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lane connects with a nasty looking knee right to Saint Pierre's face.
A short right from Lane. Lane landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Lane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A head kick misses from Lane. Saint Pierre swinging wilding here.

Lane misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lane tries to close the distance and clinch but Saint Pierre swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Saint Pierre fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lane tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Saint Pierre paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lane clinches. Lane stalling the fight.
A knee to the head by Lane.
Lane has Saint Pierre pressed against the cage, preventing Saint Pierre from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Saint Pierre takes a knee right on the jaw!
Lane prevents Saint Pierre from breaking the clinch. Lane content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Lane tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Saint Pierre avoids it. Lane breaks from the clinch.
Saint Pierre uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lane. Saint Pierre gets caught flat footed, as Lane shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lane is stalling in the full guard. Saint Pierre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lane doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lane manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lane advances to half guard. Lane performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Saint Pierre is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nice strikes from Lane there. Saint Pierre has hold of Lane's hands but Lane slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
And that's the end of the fight! Justin Lane showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lane has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
