Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smalls thuds a left hand into Brice's body.
Brice avoids the body shot from Smalls.
Smalls fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brice.
Smalls is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Brice's half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Brice throws a nice looking combination but Smalls bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Brice tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smalls was well out of range. Poor timing from Brice.

and Brice counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Brice scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Brice shoots in for a takedown but Smalls shows good takedown defense.

Brice throws a series of punches but Smalls avoids them all with ease.

Brice stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brice wants it to stay on the feet.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Brice. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Smalls lands with a slapping head kick.

Smalls lands with a hook. Brice tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Kip Smalls showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Kip Smalls seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brice is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smalls's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smalls's back!
Smalls is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Brice is working for a rear naked choke. Smalls is not defending it well and Brice has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Smalls refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Smalls's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
