Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Maldonado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maldonado kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is momma said knock you out. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kevin Durant!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Durant looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Durant content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Maldonado keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Durant is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Durant uses his free foot to push down on Maldonado's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Maldonado.
Maldonado wants to try and get back to his feet.
Durant tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Durant trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Maldonado wants to get back to his feet.
Durant wants to control the pace but Maldonado is squirming around nicely.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Maldonado really wants to buck Durant off and get back to his feet.
Durant looking to control but Maldonado is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Durant wants to control the pace but Maldonado is squirming around nicely.
Despite being in the dominant position, Kevin Durant just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Durant avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maldonado fails in his attempt to clinch.
Durant dodges the punch combination from Maldonado.
Maldonado lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Durant crumples to the floor! Maldonado milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
