Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Pollack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Turkish Rockarm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jackson Pollack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Turkish Rockarm!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Rockarm, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pollack fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rockarm leaves Pollack with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rockarm throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Pollack fails with a takedown attempt.
Pollack is breathing heavily.

Rockarm drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pollack has a closed guard, preventing Rockarm from standing up.
Pollack keeping moving, preventing Rockarm from controlling successfully.
Rockarm seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Rockarm passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Rockarm works to advance to full mount. Pollack defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pollack tries for a takedown but Rockarm circles away easily

and Rockarm counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pollack's guard now.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pollack is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rockarm misses with a few strikes there.
Pollack tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Rockarm stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Rockarm decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rockarm is keen to just control but Pollack is a slippery customer.

Pollack on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pollack tries to get out of the position.
Pollack is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rockarm wants to control but Pollack is keeping him busy.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rockarm shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Pollack is pulling down on Rockarm's head to control his posture.
Rockarm trying to control the position from guard on top but Pollack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Pollack looking for a guillotine here but Rockarm defends easily.

Pollack has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rockarm is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Pollack.
Rockarm remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Rockarm stands up.
Jackson Pollack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pollack circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pollack tries for a takedown but Rockarm circles away easily

and Rockarm counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pollack!
Pollack wants to hold on but Rockarm pushes him away.

Turkish Rockarm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Rockarm counters with a shoot takedown. Pollack fights it but they end up in guard.
Rockarm stands and throws Pollack's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Pollack is not content to let Rockarm control the position.

Rockarm is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pollack has escaped the position, nice work there.
Pollack is trying to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Pollack is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Pollack looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Turkish Rockarm is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rockarm moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Turkish Rockarm comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rockarm has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
