Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Aloha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forest Evens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evens has chosen Ayo as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aloha shoots in looking for a takedown. Evens tries to sprawl out of it but Aloha keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Evens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Aloha has a takedown stuffed.

Evens feints and as Aloha raises his hands in defense, Evens changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Aloha drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Evens dives on top into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Aloha shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Evens as he jumps to the side.

and Aloha counters with a nice double leg into side control. Evens won't be happy with that.

Aloha has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Evens is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Aloha yanks on the arm and Evens is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Aloha.
