Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Nevils (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nasir Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nevils comes into the arena with Someday- Flipsyde blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevils tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nevils drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Nevils counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nevils changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Nevils manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jones's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Jones duly obliges.

and Jones counters with a left and a right that stings Nevils.

Jones throws a right hand that Nevils ducks under and follows up with a left that Nevils also avoids with ease.

Nevils scores with a hook to the body. Jones takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jones stalks Nevils and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nevils's face. Nevils staggers backwards, shaken.

and Jones counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Nevils!

Nevils is rocked!

Jones stands up from half guard.
Oh Nevils is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nevils moves forwards but Jones connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jones throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nevils counters with a two punch combo.
Nevils seems to have got his legs back now.
Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones lunges at Nevils with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nevils's hand.
Some bone on bone action there as Nevils checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
