Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Pickens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allen Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spencer Pickens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Allen Carson! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pickens shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Carson defends it nicely. Pickens tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carson was well out of range. Poor timing from Pickens. Carson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pickens sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carson somewhat. Carson shoots in looking for a takedown. Pickens tries to sprawl out of it but Carson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pickens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carson staying out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carson fails with the takedown and Pickens counters with a series of strikes. Carson will be more careful next time no doubt. Spencer Pickens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Allen Carson. Carson moves out of range of the strikes. No luck with that takedown attempt from Carson. Carson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pickens's half guard. Pickens gets back to full guard.
Pickens will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pickens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Carson stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Pickens has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Carson manages to get his head free but now Pickens has transitioned to an armbar! Carson grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Pickens! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
