The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giant fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ripyourheadov avoids it really well and circles away.
Giant avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Andre Giant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Giant shoots for a double leg takedown but Ripyourheadov sprawls well. He's pushed Giant's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ripyourheadov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Giant circles away quickly and effectively.

Giant changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ripyourheadov tries to avoid it but Giant manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ripyourheadov to the ground. Ripyourheadov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
