Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Filho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimmerman throws a head kick but Filho moves out of range.
Zimmerman throws a body punch but Filho moves out of range.
Zimmerman thows a body shot but no joy.

Filho closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Filho lands in his opponent's guard.

Zimmerman is looking to stand up but Filho isn't so interested in that idea.
Filho wants to control from the top but Zimmerman keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Filho accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Filho postures up in Zimmerman's guard and throws a big left but Zimmerman blocks it.

Zimmerman has momentary wrist control but Filho slips an elbow through the middle.

Filho stops Zimmerman from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Filho's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Filho passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Filho has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Zimmerman is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Filho yanks on the arm and Zimmerman is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Filho.
