Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Belfort!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Hall!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall wants to clinch up but Belfort keeps it at a distance.
Belfort is looking to clinch.
Belfort tries a head kick but it misses.

Hall darts in and clinches Belfort up against the cage.
Belfort using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hall has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Belfort with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Hall lands a knee to the body.
Belfort with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hall misses with an elbow over the top.
Hall working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Hall gets control of Belfort's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hall will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Hall scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Belfort misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Belfort sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hall somewhat.

Hall drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Hall tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hall looks gassed!
Belfort wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hall thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Hall wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Belfort, who protects the arm well.
Belfort tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hall wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Belfort is pushing Hall's head away, looking to escape. Hall manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Belfort tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Belfort tries to lock up and control but Hall gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Hall is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Belfort has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Belfort can't escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hall tries to control but Belfort wriggling away.
Belfort wants to try and get back to his feet.

Hall is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Belfort tries a head kick but it misses.
Belfort takes one to the chin there.
Hall tries to clinch but Belfort is having none of it.

Hall closes the distance and clinches.
Hall has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hall misses with a knee to the head.
Belfort has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hall is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hall shoots in but no luck this time.
Belfort throws a head kick but Hall moves out of range.

Hall rushes Belfort and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Belfort tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Hall putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Belfort in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Hall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Belfort pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hall fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hall misses with a series of wild punches.
Hall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Belfort tries a head kick but it misses.
Belfort is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hall gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Hall drags the fight down to the ground.

Belfort is posturing up here but Hall has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Belfort tries to roll out but it's too tight and Belfort has to tap! Slick submission there by Hall!
