Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gary Larson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Wasderman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gary Larson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Barry Wasderman! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larson leaves Wasderman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Wasderman wants to clinch. Wasderman looks for a takedown but Larson sprawls well. Larson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Larson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Larson wants to pass to mount but Wasderman is defending the position. Larson is taking a breather. Wasderman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Larson is keen to just control but Wasderman is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wasderman is trying to stand.
Larson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Wasderman is refusing to be controlled, as Larson sits in half guard. Larson wants to stand up but Wasderman has a hold of him and won't allow it. Wasderman is looking for a sweep. Larson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wasderman tries for a takedown but Larson circles away easily and Larson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wasderman! Gary Larson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Barry Wasderman. Larson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wasderman tries to hold on but Larson postures up. Larson looking to finish with strikes here!
Wasderman tries to lock up and control but Larson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Larson controlling from the full mount. Wasderman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Larson trying to control from half guard but Wasderman is working away. Wasderman trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Larson decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. A slow jab from Wasderman misses its intended target. Wasderman clinches but Larson breaks the clinch and Larson counters with a takedown into side control. Larson is breathing heavily. Larson working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Wasderman regains half guard. Larson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wasderman is looking to escape. It looks like Larson is going to stand back up.
Larson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wasderman on the ground. Wasderman slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Larson trying to control but Wasderman is working from the bottom. Larson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Wasderman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Larson manages to get himself to full guard.
Wasderman wants to control from the top but Larson keeps moving. Larson is striking but Wasderman is not phased and passes to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wasderman wants to clinch and Larson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Larson trying to control from Wasderman's half guard. Wasderman has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Larson wants to control from the top but Wasderman keeps moving. Wasderman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Larson trying to control the position from guard on top but Wasderman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wasderman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Larson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wasderman looking for a sweep. Not yet Wasderman, not yet. Wasderman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wasderman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Larson circles away. Larson throws a head kick but Wasderman moves out of range.

Wasderman closes the distance and clinches up with Larson, looking for a takedown. Wasderman pushes Larson against the cage but Larson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wasderman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Larson's waist but Larson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wasderman off to one side. Larson fails with a takedown attempt. Wasderman tries for a takedown but Larson circles away easily and Larson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Larson trying to advance position but Wasderman counters by regaining guard. Wasderman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Larson manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wasderman would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Wasderman sitting in guard here, content to control. Larson wants to sweep but no luck. Larson wants to control but Wasderman passes easily into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wasderman wants to control but Larson is keeping him busy. Larson throws a few strikes from the bottom but Wasderman takes advantage and mounts! Wasderman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Larson is looking to escape. Wasderman throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Larson wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wasderman is looking to take a break and control but Larson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Larson can't do much from the bottom here. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wasderman keeping hold of Larson's head, controlling as best he can. Larson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Wasderman moves into full guard.
Wasderman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wasderman missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wasderman works his way into side control. Wasderman trying to control the position but Larson is working away. Larson tries to buck Wasderman off but Wasderman is having none of it. Larson is letting Wasderman control him for a moment. Wasderman works to advance to full mount. Larson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wasderman is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Larson is surviving well by controlling Wasderman's body position as best he can. Wasderman sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Poor strikes thrown by Wasderman there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

And that's the end of the fight! Barry Wasderman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Larson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
