Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Li Zheng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Invandra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zheng comes to the cage accompanied by Kung Fu Fighting. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Li Zheng! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Invandra! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Invandra avoids the head kick by Zheng.

Invandra shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Invandra was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Invandra controlling the pace for now. Zheng could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. That was a close round but I would say that Li Zheng will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A close second round but Joe Invandra will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Zheng's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Invandra must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Zheng manages to escape and get back to his feet.

He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. Zheng misses with a takedown attempt and Invandra moves into the clinch. Invandra trying to land knees to the body.
Zheng is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Invandra is keeping busy. Zheng can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight. Zheng stalling against the cage.
