Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, David McCredie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conner Savage!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCredie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Savage's waist but Savage gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McCredie off to one side.
Savage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

McCredie closes the distance and clinches.
Savage fails to pull guard.
A looping hook to the body misses from McCredie. Savage does a little dance to reset his feet.
McCredie ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Savage wants to clinch

and McCredie counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McCredie.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Savage holds on and takes a little breather.
Savage controls McCredie momentarily but McCredie frees himself.
McCredie wants to get up but he can't break Savage's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
McCredie slips nicely into half guard.
Savage looks like he's trying to stand up.
Savage wants to control but McCredie is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Savage is looking to improve his position.
McCredie is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Savage has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McCredie is working away from the top position though.
Savage is not content to let McCredie control the position.
McCredie wants to stand but Savage has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
McCredie is figuring out what he wants to do next.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McCredie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Savage throws the left hand but McCredie avoids the punch easily.
McCredie tries to clinch up but Savage circles away and keeps his distance.
McCredie is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Savage gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and McCredie counters with a nice double leg into guard.
McCredie forces his way into half guard.
Savage wants to control but McCredie is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Savage looks gassed!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McCredie thows a huge punch but Savage dodges it nicely.

McCredie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Savage is looking to improve his position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McCredie decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
McCredie is looking to slow Savage down with leg kicks.

McCredie takes the fight into the clinch.
McCredie drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Savage gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

McCredie gets control of Savage's arms and successfully pulls guard. McCredie will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
McCredie wants to get back to his feet but Savage is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
McCredie keeping full guard, as Savage tries to pass.
McCredie looking to hit a scissor sweep but Savage is one step ahead there.
Savage slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Savage trying to control the position but McCredie is working away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David McCredie dominated that round.
That's time! McCredie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Savage changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McCredie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McCredie is trying to get back to half guard.
Savage wants to control but McCredie is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Savage tries to move into full mount but can't pass McCredie's legs.

Savage is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McCredie is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McCredie is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Savage off and has taken his back!

Savage avoids the strikes from McCredie.

McCredie has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Savage is in real trouble here. McCredie gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Savage is tapping out! McCredie wins by rear naked choke!
