The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brickhead throws a right hand that Von Bitcon ducks under and follows up with a left that Von Bitcon also avoids with ease. Brickhead throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Brickhead feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Von Bitcon's calf. Brickhead throws the left hand but Von Bitcon avoids the punch easily. Brickhead misses with a wild combination.
Brickhead digs a good body shot into Von Bitcon's ribs. Bob Brickhead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Von Bitcon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brickhead. Brickhead just misses with a punch to the body.
Brickhead throws a right hand that Von Bitcon ducks under and follows up with a left that Von Bitcon also avoids with ease. Von Bitcon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Brickhead.
It looks like Conelius Von Bitcon has been cut. Brickhead fails to land with a series of punches.
Brickhead misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A jab from Brickhead misses. Von Bitcon feints and as Brickhead raises his hands in defense, Von Bitcon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Brickhead had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Von Bitcon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brickhead Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Von Bitcon's back instead. Brickhead is breathing heavily. Von Bitcon manages to reverse the position and now he's in Brickhead's guard. Nice work there by Von Bitcon.
That's one minute gone in the round. Von Bitcon stands up and waves to Brickhead to follow him. Von Bitcon rushes Brickhead and presses him up against the cage. Von Bitcon wants a takedown.
Brickhead prevents a takedown attempt there.
Brickhead misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Von Bitcon.
Brickhead throws a knee to the head but misses.
Von Bitcon tries to break the clinch but Brickhead is controlling the position. Brickhead trying to land knees to the body.
Brickhead throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Von Bitcon blocks it with crossed arms. Brickhead missing with knees to the body.
Von Bitcon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Brickhead avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bob Brickhead has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conelius Von Bitcon. Von Bitcon jumps into guard, dragging Brickhead to the mat.
Brickhead knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Von Bitcon on the ground. Von Bitcon pushes a forearm under Brickhead's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Brickhead is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
