Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas THE TANK (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, George Mason! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas THE TANK! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! THE TANK slaps away a takedown attempt from Mason, before circling back to the center of the mat. THE TANK tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. THE TANK keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Mason shoots in but THE TANK avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him.
THE TANK looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
THE TANK escapes and gets back to his feet. THE TANK ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. THE TANK scores with a nice right hand.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mason looks like he's thinking about clinching though. THE TANK misses with a double jab.
THE TANK throws a series of punches but Mason avoids them all with ease. Mason has his takedown stuffed
and THE TANK counters by moving into the clinch. Mason lands a knee to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! THE TANK is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Mason trying to land knees to the body.
Mason is breathing heavily. THE TANK is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mason is keeping busy.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Mason tries to land a knee to the head but THE TANK blocks with his arms.
THE TANK escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mason is looking to clinch.
THE TANK closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mason sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
THE TANK decides to stand up.
THE TANK looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
THE TANK escapes and gets back to his feet.
THE TANK gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mason tries to pull guard but THE TANK holds him up against the cage and eventually Mason drops back down to his feet.
Mason with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
THE TANK looking to slow down the pace here.
Mason breaks the clinch.
Mason shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and THE TANK counters with a right hand to the body.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mason gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! THE TANK controlling from the top position. Mason wants to stand but THE TANK is controlling the position. Mason is looking to sweep but instead, THE TANK has passed into half guard.
Mason tries to kick THE TANK off but THE TANK keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Mason wants to get back to full guard. THE TANK is controlling the pace.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mason is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
THE TANK is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Mason is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Mason flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. THE TANK anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Mason and secures both hooks! This could be bad! THE TANK slips an arm under Mason chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. THE TANK has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. THE TANK is squeezing on Mason like an anaconda would it's prey. Mason fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Thomas THE TANK!
