Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ding Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Patenza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ding Dong has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Patenza feints and as Dong raises his hands in defense, Patenza changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dong bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Patenza's guard.
Dong wants to control from the top but Patenza keeps moving.
Patenza looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dong is one step ahead there.
Dong trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Dong drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Patenza manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dong has Patenza in his guard.

Patenza got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dong has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Patenza has managed to get both his arms back between Dong's legs - danger averted.

Patenza breaks from Dong's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Oh Dong is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The referee warns Dong that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Patenza fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dong is in a horrible position here. Patenza smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Patenza loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Dong scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Patenza land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Patenza stands and salutes the crowd.
