With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frankie Pep!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pratt jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A solid leg kick lands there for Pep.
Pratt punishes Pep's body with a nice straight punch.
Pratt connects with a right hand. Pep shakes it off.
Pratt lands with a right hand.
Pratt avoids the head kick by Pep.
Pep lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Al Pratt has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pep lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Pratt throws a leg kick that is checked
and Pratt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pep displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pratt throws out the jab.

Pratt scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Pep circles away from the clinch attempt.

Pratt takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Pratt lands with an overhand left.
Pep lands a with a good body shot.
Pep throws a series of punches but Pratt moves out of range.
Pratt loads up on a big right hand but Pep slips the punch.
Pep lands a nice looking body shot.

and Pep counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pratt thinking.
Pratt is breathing heavily.
Nice shot lands for Pep.
Pratt on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Pep paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Pep lands a two punch combo.

Pratt is rocked!
Pep fakes the leg kick and cracks Pratt in the body.
Oh Pratt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Pep drives through and clinches with Pratt against the cage.
Pep stalling the fight.
Pratt seems to have got his legs back now.

Pep breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Al Pratt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pratt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pep counters with a good low kick that Pratt was not able to check.
Pep scores with a hook.

Pep closes the distance and pushes Pratt back into the cage.
Pep has Pratt pressed against the cage.
Pratt working hard to break the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Pep.
Pep lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Pratt.
Pep keeps control of Pratt as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Pep pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Pep counters with a solid body kick.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Pep!
Pep throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pep lands a nice looking kick to the body. Pratt takes a step back to recover.
Pratt is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Nice body kick from Pep.
Pratt takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Al Pratt's cut is getting worse.
Pratt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pep counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Pep stalks Pratt and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pratt's face. Pratt staggers backwards, shaken.
Pep drops Pratt with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Pratt! Pep dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Frankie Pep!
