Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Andres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lyoto Andres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Cole! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andres fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Andres. Andres looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Andres will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lyoto Andres. That's going to take a lot out of him. Andres looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Cole is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cole is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Cole is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cole is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Andres has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andres stands and throws Cole's legs to the side, diving into side control. Andres throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Cole is looking to regain half guard here but Andres keeps moving and retains side control. Cole wants to get back to his feet but Andres drags him back down. Cole takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Cole is trying to get back to half guard. Andres is chipping away with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole is not content to let Andres control the position. Cole looks gassed! Andres content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Andres tries for a kimura but Cole is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole taking punishment in the form of punches.
Cole should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Andres working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Cole is not content to let Andres control the position. Andres is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Cole's shoulder. That is not cool. Cole is trying to get back to his feet. Andres looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cole prevents Andres from moving into mount. Cole gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Cole is staying active underneath Andres, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Andres gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Andres closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Andres wants to take a breather but Cole is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyoto Andres dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Andres misses with a head kick.
No luck for Andres with that takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Andres. Andres tries to clinch there but Cole circles away.
Cole misses with a two punch combination.
Lyoto Andres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cole misses with a double jab
and Andres moves into the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cole breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cole throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Andres moves in looking to clinch but Cole pushes him off. Andres shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cole's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole looking for a sweep. Not yet Cole, not yet. Cole pushes Andres off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Andres closes the distance and pushes Cole back into the cage. Cole is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Cole wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Andres throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Coles head. Andres breaks from the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Andres breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cole gets caught flat footed, as Andres shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andres throws a big right hand that misses. Andres wants to control from the top but Cole keeps moving. Andres prevents Cole from getting back to his feet. Andres trying to control but Cole is working from the bottom. Andres controlling from the top position. Cole is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Andres is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Andres swinging wilding here.
Andres circles away from the clinch attempt.
Andres darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Andres controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andres is trying to control the action in half guard but Cole is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Ground and pound from Andres. Cole is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Andres scores with a couple of nice shots. Andres is taking a breather. Cole says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Andres lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyoto Andres dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Andres is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cole sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Andres fails to land the takedown. Cole lands with a kick to the temple. Andres shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Andres circles away from the clinch attempt and Andres counters with a takedown into side control. Cole is pushing Andres's head away, looking to escape. Andres manages to hold on to the position though. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cole is trying to control Andres's posture but Andres avoids it. Cole takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole is not content to let Andres control the position. Andres goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Cole rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Andres's guard! Nice work there by Cole! Andres not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cole in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Andres keeping moving, preventing Cole from controlling successfully. Andres is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Andres is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Andres is working an open guard so Cole takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Cole clinches but Andres breaks the clinch and Andres counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Andres has Cole pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cole manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lyoto Andres. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cole's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Andres throws a lazy head kick and Cole counters with a body kick that stops Andres in his tracks momentarily. Andres moves into the clinch successfully.
Cole drags the fight down to the ground.
Cole working a defensive guard but Andres passes into half guard.
Cole regains full guard. Nicely done. Cole keeping moving, preventing Andres from controlling successfully. Andres prevents Cole from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andres throws and elbow that misses. Cole uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Andres's guard. Nice move by Cole! Andres manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Cole tries to lock up and control but Andres gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Cole tries to reverse the position but Andres maintains control. Andres content just to control the position here. Cole tries to hold on but Andres postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Lyoto Andres showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Andres, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
